TNR Begins at Riverside Colony

Through our partnership with Cat's Cradle and permission of homeowners, we have authorized and began TNR'ing our Riverside colony. Kittens are being taken in via Cat's Cradle to be adopted through their system. If you're interested in a kitten, keep an eye on their pages. TNR is a crucial part of colony management, and without it, the colony will continue to grow. Cats have been giving birth outside of kitten season, which is typically defined as late April-October. This means that the colony is already "out of control" so to speak. Another litter was born in August and was taken to the Rockingham County SPCA to be rehomed, along with their mother. If you're interested in adopting a cat, please let us know and we will notify you if they are trapped.
